Noter:
In the second half of the 1400s Cecilie Uf bestowed a gilded silver-
chalice to Nyker Church, which is still in use. It bears the Uf-
family coat-of-arms - with its characteristic
truss/chevron (sparre) - and the inscription: "Madame Cecilie gave
this chalice to All-Saints Church, pray for my soul." This indicates
that the Uf-family had a home-farm in Nyker parish.
