After Peder Mogensen's death in 1836 his wife Anne Kirstine
Jensdatter stayed and managed the farm with the help of her grown-up
sons. Until 1841, when she passed over the reins to her youngest
daughter Karen Marie Pedersdatter and her fiancee Jeppe Andersen. The
purchase price was 1,700 Rigsdaler, plus the right for the mother to
stay on the farm.
